The Ask

Create a fashion forecast for the Fall/Winter 2025 Women's Wear season, incorporating a trend analysis that aligns with the prevailing Zeitgeist of 2025, ensuring widespread societal acceptance.

The Process

Mood boards & Color Palettes

Our theme hones in on a new movement of art; the anti-art rebellion. This movement is fueled by the integration of AI in our everyday lives. Now more than ever, true creativity and originality are lacking. The overall mood for our forecast “Art Is Dead” is the rejection of using AI and bringing back that creative element of the human mind. Within our mood boards, you can see the way technology is seen as our antagonist, and on the other hand we added the element of innovation, expressionism, and that connection to nature.

These color palettes combines the opposite narratives of "Artificial Angst" and "The Rebirth of Creativity" to symbolize the conflicting desires of a society that is divided between AI and real creativity. The Artificial Angst pallet reflects a mood of rebellion and uncertainty by utilizing the psychological effects of dark and dismal hues. Contrastingly, The Rebirth of Creativity palette uses warm, vibrant colors that are connected to optimism, creativity, and nonconformity. The contrast between the two show the death of creativity, and the rebirth.

Textiles

When selecting textiles for the Women’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, a dynamic approach is essential. The collection harmoniously blends natural and synthetic fibers, where knits take center stage in the collection. The curation of fabrics delves into the essence of the theme, aiming to encapsulate the evolution between rejecting artificial perfection and the resurgence of creativity. Combinations of textiles such as Jersey Single Knits with PANeletteTM, display distressed textures, to reinforce the notion of the fading creativity.

Additionally, the inclusion of sustainable materials like DessertoR, challenges conventional perceptions of artistry by evolving through textile manipulation, taking the aesthetic of traditional leather. In the ever-evolving realm of fashion and innovation, 2023 Zeitgeist pays homage to the dynamic interplay between environmental conscientiousness and the use of technology to account for the responsibility and the repercussions of mass production and fast fashion.

The Outcome

Video Campaign

This video expresses the shift of that lack of creativity, to the burst of new ideas and creations. Art movements share a common thread in their pursuit of redefining or rebelling against conventional artistic norms. They emerge as a response to social and economic landscapes, offering a perspective of history and artistic evolution.

Street Style

Urban Eclectic: Clash and contrast of vibrant hues and patterns serve as a mode of self-expression and style innovation. The infusion of discordant hues creates a striking visual impact with a sense of personality. Pairing contrasting elements can lead to the creation of a chaos that rebirths creativity and human confidence, showcasing unique and humanized perspectives.

Sheer Allure: Embracing opposing elements, Sheer Allure contrasts lace and bows with chunky boots and black shoes to create a harmonious balance between femininity and masculinity.

Disrupted Edge: Intentionally exposing seams, raw edges and unconventional cuts takes the form of deconstructed fashion as an avant-garde style. Embracing asymmetry to create a sense of control within chaos, this deconstructed style represents the rejection of perfection associated with AI-generated designs.

&

Runway Looks

Corporate Mystique: Represents the re-imagining of a new workforce. This transformation has taken a daring turn, morphing into a distinctly unpolished and grungier aesthetic that embraces raw authenticity and unconventional style.

Mixed Emotions: Fueled by the struggles of adopting a new technology, layering emerges as an art form that skillfully combines multiple garments, adding depth and interest to outfits. Mixed Emotions evolves into a powerful tool for expressing contemporary individuality, establishing a clear distinction between automated algorithms and humanized, experimental fashion.

Divine Glamour: Exaggerated proportions and bold silhouettes, capturing attention through intricate patterns and whimsical details. It embodies the emotion of rejection that art is not merely alive but rebirthing, pushing the boundaries of traditional tailoring.
